| NEW FAA Compliant E-LSA Complete Aircraft: ALSA has always offered builders the space and expertise to assemble Zenith's basic airframe kits in a way that meets the traditional FAA 51% rule. Finally, for those who do not have the time, space, or the will, to complete 51% of the work themselves, we are proud to offer the Zenair FAA compliant, CH750 & CH650, E-LSA Aircraft! What is an ELSA Aircraft? Basically, E-LSA aircraft are an exact duplicates of the certified S-LSA version. The big difference is that an E-LSA may be legally built for you by a facility such as ours, regardless of the 51% rule. Over the years, manufacturing processes have evolved and today, Zenair's FAA-compliant 49% airframe kits are more complete and advanced than ever before. Zenair then compiles strict standards to be followed by each of the approved assembly centers (such as American Light Sport Aircrafters) to follow in construction of these airplanes. Regulations also have evolved, allowing for more and more complete kits permitted in various aircraft categories (i.e. E-LSA in the USA.) To meet customer's demands for aircraft in those categories, Zenair has developed a range of ADVANCED kits for its various aircraft models and are making them available only through select representatives including American LSA.
